Individual Counseling
Talk therapy is a personal opportunity for clients to receive support and experience growth under the care and insight of a licensed professional. Individual one-on-one counseling can help one deal with many topics that can be challenging to talk about with friends & family, such as:
- depression
- anxiety
- relationship challenges
- work stress
- substance use and abuse
- grief & bereavement
- school difficulties
- career changes
- life stage transitions
- healthy self-care practices
Family Counseling
Individual clients often enter therapy to solve a particular problem that may only affect them personally. Entering therapy with one’s partner can be a way to understand the dynamics of their relationship and identify any pain points that the couple may be experiencing.
Therapy can guide a family to find acceptance and resolution through the implementation of a variety of different methods. Couples therapy aims to work towards solutions and necessary changes – not to blame or identify who is at fault or to issue punishments.

Coaches work with clients in a collaborative process; the agenda for each conversation is developed by both parties together. Oftentimes, a coach will have expertise in the coachee’s desired area of growth. However, as a coach is not expected to have all the answers, their expertise could be diverse or apply concretely across different disciplines.
Rather than giving advice, a coach will gather information in the co-created process of change. A coach’s job is to ask questions from a curious stance that will provoke thought in a growth-oriented direction. Coaches see their clients as a whole and having the answers inside of them. Together, the coach and coachee discover to new pathways of navigating the coachee’s world.

Zachary has experience with formalized incident-based coaching recommended by a client’s HR department, as well as informal coaching requested by clients to address time management, task prioritization, ADHD symptom management (e.g., creating systems to reduce executive dysfunction), and interpersonal skill-building.

Mindfulness Meditation
Zachary has been practicing meditation on a daily basis for several years. In 2025, he was certified by Dharma Moon and Tibet House as a Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. Mindfulness meditation is a basic practice of cultivating awareness of the present moment without judgment or bias.
2600 years ago, the Buddha expanded on these ancient practices to cultivate a stable, focused, and tranquil mind. In more recent traditions originating in India and Tibet, these mindfulness practices became a foundational practice for developing insight. Over time, Tibetan teachers have outlined these progressive stages of stability leading to the absorption of knowledge and wisdom.
