Befriend Your Mind in Therapy

Therapy is more than talking about problems. It’s a structured, collaborative process designed to help you develop new coping skills, change unhelpful patterns of behavior, support personal growth, and increase self-understanding.

Mindfulness Meditation

All we have is this present moment. Individuals who practice mindfulness meditation regulaly often experience greater clarity, stability, and compassion — qualities that are essential for navigating both personal and professional challenges.

Why be mindful?

Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of the present moment without judgment or bias. These practices aim to cultivate a stable, focused, and tranquil mind. To be mindful is to bring a quality of kind attention to our experience as human beings, with a focus on enhancing our clarity, gentleness, and resilience.

Many people report benefits from regular mindfulness practice, such as:

Reduced stress
Increased clarity & gentleness
Making better decisions
Experiencing more love & compassion
More restful sleep

What my
clients & colleagues say

I have been resistant to meditation in the past, but Zac’s informative approach (sharing research and delving deeply) has won me over!

Andrew R.

Zac’s blend of warmth, wisdom, and humor has profoundly deepened my meditation practice. He brings a rare combination of clarity and receptivity to his teaching that makes mindfulness feel both accessible and deeply transformative.

I’ve known Zac since we were kids. We first met in middle school playing music together. I was always struck by his presence and attentiveness. He brings the same listening, sensitivity, and intuitive rhythm that defined his musicianship to the way he teaches mindfulness practices. I would recommend Zac as a teacher to anyone seeking an authentic and artful approach to meditation.

Emmet Cohen

Zac is both a knowledgeable and deeply heartfelt mindfulness meditation teacher. His approach is rooted in ancient wisdom and delivered with a relaxed and relatable style. Meditators of all levels would benefit from training with Zac, as he brings a refreshing levity to the heaviness of modern life.
